Aspen

We have all heard the saying "quivering like an aspen." It's a state that's uncomfortable to be in, but on the bright side, aspen carries gifts as well. It teaches how being affected by the energies around us, being sensitive, can allow us to feel excitement, aliveness, and engagement in life.

If we take in too much, we will probably experience fear and anxiety. This is the remedy for the natural mystic, who doesn't really have to search much for "spiritual experiences" but embodies it naturally. Even though they seem to be drawn towards the unknown, the mystical, because they unconsciously know that's where the expansion is. You see, the aspen leaves are vibrating and dancing with every small breath of air. It looks like silver plates glittering in the sun.

This shows how sensitive a person with aspen traits is, but also how beautiful it is to let oneself be touched by it all. I was subconsciously camping beside aspen trees two times in a row last week, and I couldn't help being soothed and grounded by their presence and the sound of the vibrating leaves.

When we are in a state of negative aspen, it's crucial to get a lot of sunlight, be outside with the elements, and reduce the amount of stimulants one takes. If we don't do this and live a hectic city life with no routines, late nights, and parties, it will reinforce the negative traits, which are fear, anxiety, and nightmares.

Oh, I know very well, I have plenty of aspen within myself. I didn't sleep for 15 years because every time I would relax, something dark would come up from my unconscious that I wasn't ready to meet. So, a practice in meditation and taking care of my body and nervous system was a game-changer. The path to light is journeying through the unknown, at least for the "aspen person" whose strength lies in meeting the unknown without fear and transforming the darkness into light. Aspen remedy helps to strengthen our natural aura, to not take in too much. At the same time, it can help people who need more sensitivity to open up. Thank you, aspen, I'm forever grateful!
